Antimony trioxide is a white crystalline powder with the chemical formula Sb2O3. It is used as a flame retardant in plastics, textiles, and rubber, and as a catalyst in the production of certain chemicals. Antimony trioxide is relatively non-toxic but can cause skin and respiratory irritation upon exposure. Proper handling, storage, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are essential to ensure safety.
