BORIC ACID Chemical compatibility with O-rings, rubbers, & plastics

Boric acid is a white crystalline solid with the chemical formula H3BO3. It is used as an antiseptic, insecticide, flame retardant, and in the manufacture of glass and ceramics. Boric acid is relatively non-toxic but can cause skin and eye irritation upon contact. Proper handling and storage are essential to ensure safety.
