COBALTOUS CHLORIDE Chemical compatibility with O-rings, rubbers, & plastics

Cobaltous chloride is a blue crystalline compound with the chemical formula CoCl2. It is used in the manufacture of certain chemicals, in humidity indicators, and as a reagent in laboratory analyses. Cobaltous chloride is relatively non-toxic but can cause skin and respiratory irritation upon exposure. Proper handling, storage, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are essential to ensure safety.
