Ethyleneimine, also known as aziridine, is a colorless liquid with an ammonia-like odor, represented by the chemical formula C2H5N. It is used as a crosslinking agent and in the synthesis of various chemicals. Ethyleneimine is highly flammable and toxic, causing skin and respiratory irritation and is a potential carcinogen. Proper handling, storage, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are essential to ensure safety.
