Aluminum ethylate is an organometallic compound with the chemical formula Al(C2H5O)3. It is used as a catalyst in the polymerization of olefins and in the production of high-performance materials. Aluminum ethylate is also employed in the synthesis of other organoaluminum compounds. It is highly reactive and can be pyrophoric, igniting spontaneously upon exposure to air. Proper handling, storage, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are essential to ensure safety.
