Zinc dihydrogen phosphate is a chemical compound with the formula Zn(H₂PO₄)₂. It is used as a corrosion inhibitor in industrial coatings and primers, particularly for steel and other metals. The compound forms a protective layer on metal surfaces, preventing oxidation and extending the lifespan of the coated materials. Zinc dihydrogen phosphate is also used in the production of phosphating solutions, which prepare metal surfaces for painting and improve paint adhesion.
