ACRYIMIDE Chemical compatibility with O-rings, rubbers, & plastics

Acryimide, more commonly known as acrylamide, is an organic compound with the chemical formula C3H5NO. It is a white, odorless solid that is soluble in water and various organic solvents. Acrylamide is used primarily in the production of polyacrylamide, which is employed in water treatment, paper manufacturing, and as a soil conditioner. It is also used in laboratory settings for electrophoresis gels. Acrylamide is a neurotoxin and potential carcinogen, making proper handling and safety precautions essential. This includes using personal protective equipment (PPE) and following guidelines to minimize exposure risks.
