AMMONIUM CITRATE Chemical compatibility with O-rings, rubbers, & plastics

Ammonium citrate is a white crystalline compound with the chemical formula (NH4)3C6H5O7. It is used as a buffer, a sequestrant in food processing, and in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals. Ammonium citrate is also employed in water treatment and as a reagent in analytical chemistry. While relatively non-toxic, it can cause skin and eye irritation upon contact. Proper handling and storage are essential to ensure safety.
