Ammonium dichromate is an orange crystalline compound with the chemical formula (NH4)2Cr2O7. It is used in pyrotechnics, as a mordant in dyeing, and in the production of pigments. Ammonium dichromate is highly toxic and a known carcinogen, posing significant health risks upon exposure.
