Ammonium oxalate is a white crystalline compound with the chemical formula (NH4)2C2O4. It is used as a reagent in analytical chemistry, a precipitating agent in metal analysis, and in the manufacture of specialty chemicals. Ammonium oxalate is relatively non-toxic but can cause skin and eye irritation upon contact. Proper handling and storage are essential to ensure safety.
