ASPARTIC ACID Chemical compatibility with O-rings, rubbers, & plastics

Aspartic acid is an amino acid with the chemical formula C4H7NO4. It is used as a dietary supplement, in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals, and as a component in protein synthesis. Aspartic acid is relatively non-toxic but can cause skin and eye irritation upon contact. Proper handling and storage are essential to ensure safety.
