Bismuth nitrate is a white crystalline compound with the chemical formula Bi(NO3)3. It is used in the manufacture of bismuth-based pharmaceuticals, pigments, and other bismuth-containing compounds. Bismuth nitrate is relatively non-toxic but can cause skin and respiratory irritation upon exposure. Proper handling and storage are essential to ensure safety.
