Brom - 114, or 1,2-dichloro-1,1,2,2-tetrafluoroethane, is a chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) used as a solvent and refrigerant. It is a colorless, non-flammable liquid with a slight ethereal odor. Brom - 114 is relatively non-toxic but can cause skin and respiratory irritation upon exposure. Proper handling and storage are essential to ensure safety.
