BROMOFORM Chemical compatibility with O-rings, rubbers, & plastics

Bromoform is a colorless to yellow liquid with a sweet odor, represented by the chemical formula CHBr3. It is used as a solvent and intermediate in the synthesis of various organic compounds. Bromoform is relatively non-toxic but can cause skin and respiratory irritation upon exposure. Proper handling, storage, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are essential to ensure safety.
