BUTANE Chemical compatibility with O-rings, rubbers, & plastics

Butane is a colorless gas with a mild gasoline-like odor, represented by the chemical formula C4H10. It is used as a fuel, refrigerant, and in the production of certain chemicals. Butane is highly flammable and can cause skin and respiratory irritation upon exposure. Proper handling, storage, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are essential to ensure safety.
