CAPRIC ACID Chemical compatibility with O-rings, rubbers, & plastics

Capric acid is a white crystalline solid with the chemical formula C10H20O2. It is used as a flavoring agent, in the manufacture of perfumes, and as an intermediate in the synthesis of various chemicals. Capric acid is relatively non-toxic but can cause skin and respiratory irritation upon exposure. Proper handling and storage are essential to ensure safety.
