CHAULMOOGRIC ACID Chemical compatibility with O-rings, rubbers, & plastics

Chaulmoogric acid is a fatty acid derived from the seeds of the chaulmoogra tree. It has been historically used in the treatment of leprosy and other skin conditions. Chaulmoogric acid has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. It is relatively non-toxic but can cause skin and eye irritation upon contact. Proper handling and storage are essential to ensure safety, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is recommended when handling the substance.
