Chlorotrifluoroethylene is a colorless gas with a mild odor, represented by the chemical formula C2ClF3. It is used as a monomer in the production of fluoropolymers and other chemicals. Chlorotrifluoroethylene is highly flammable and can cause skin and respiratory irritation upon exposure.
