Chromic sulfate is a green crystalline compound with the chemical formula Cr2(SO4)3. It is used in the tanning of leather, as a mordant in dyeing, and in various industrial applications. Chromic sulfate is relatively non-toxic but can cause skin and respiratory irritation upon exposure. Proper handling, storage, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are essential to ensure safety.
