CYCLOPENTANE Chemical compatibility with O-rings, rubbers, & plastics

Cyclopentane is a colorless liquid with a mild odor, represented by the chemical formula C5H10. It is used as a solvent and in the manufacture of certain chemicals. Cyclopentane is highly flammable and can cause skin and respiratory irritation upon exposure. Proper handling, storage, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are essential to ensure safety.
