DECALIN Chemical compatibility with O-rings, rubbers, & plastics

Decahydronaphthalene, also known as decalin, is a colorless liquid with a mild odor, represented by the chemical formula C10H18. It is used as a solvent and in the manufacture of certain chemicals. Decahydronaphthalene is relatively non-toxic but can cause skin and respiratory irritation upon exposure. Proper handling, storage, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are essential to ensure safety.
