DIBROMODIFLUOROMETHANE Chemical compatibility with O-rings, rubbers, & plastics

Dibromodifluoromethane is a colorless liquid with the chemical formula CBr2F2. It is used as a refrigerant and in the synthesis of certain chemicals. Dibromodifluoromethane is relatively non-toxic but can cause skin and respiratory irritation upon exposure. Proper handling, storage, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are essential to ensure safety.
