Dimethylamine is a colorless gas with a fishy odor, represented by the chemical formula C2H7N. It is used as an intermediate in the synthesis of various chemicals, including pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals. Dimethylamine is relatively non-toxic but can cause skin and respiratory irritation upon exposure. Proper handling, storage, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are essential to ensure safety.
