DIPHENYLAMINE (DPA) Chemical compatibility with O-rings, rubbers, & plastics

Diphenylamine (DPA) is a white crystalline compound with the chemical formula C12H11N. It is used as an antioxidant in rubber and lubricants, as well as in the manufacture of certain dyes and pharmaceuticals. Diphenylamine is relatively non-toxic but can cause skin and respiratory irritation upon exposure. Proper handling, storage, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are essential to ensure safety when working with this chemical.
