ETHANE Chemical compatibility with O-rings, rubbers, & plastics

Ethane is a colorless, odorless gas represented by the chemical formula C2H6. It is used as a fuel, in the production of ethylene, and as a refrigerant. Ethane is highly flammable and can cause respiratory irritation upon exposure. Proper handling, storage, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are essential to ensure safety when working with this gas.
