ETHYL LACTATE Chemical compatibility with O-rings, rubbers, & plastics

Ethyl lactate is a colorless liquid with a mild odor, represented by the chemical formula C5H10O3. It is used as a solvent in coatings, inks, and cleaning products, as well as in the manufacture of certain chemicals. Ethyl lactate is relatively non-toxic but can cause skin and respiratory irritation upon exposure. Proper handling, storage, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are essential to ensure safety.
