FC 13 (CHLOROTRIFLUOROMETHANE) Chemical compatibility with O-rings, rubbers, & plastics

FC 13, also known as chlorotrifluoromethane, is a colorless, odorless gas used as a refrigerant and aerosol propellant. It has been phased out due to its ozone-depleting properties. FC 13 can cause respiratory and skin irritation upon exposure. Proper handling, storage, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are essential to ensure safety.
