Fluoroform, also known as trifluoromethane, is a colorless, non-flammable gas represented by the chemical formula CHF3. It is used as a refrigerant and in semiconductor manufacturing. Fluoroform is relatively non-toxic but can cause respiratory irritation upon exposure. Proper handling, storage, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are essential to ensure safety.
