FREON, MF (R11) Chemical compatibility with O-rings, rubbers, & plastics

Freon MF (R11) is a colorless, non-flammable gas used as a refrigerant and blowing agent. It has been phased out due to its ozone-depleting properties. Freon MF can cause respiratory and skin irritation upon exposure. Proper handling, storage, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are essential to ensure safety.
