It is a colorless, odorless liquid used widely in fertilizers, food additives, and industrial applications. Phosphoric acid is essential in the production of phosphate fertilizers, detergents, and water treatment chemicals. In the food industry, it is used to acidify beverages and as a flavoring agent.
