Propylamine is a colorless liquid with a strong ammonia-like odor. It is used as a solvent and intermediate in organic synthesis. Propylamine is employed in the production of various chemicals, including pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and dyes. It serves as a building block for the synthesis of amines, amides, and other specialty chemicals. Additionally, Propylamine is used in the formulation of coatings, adhesives, and surfactants.
