PROPYLENE CHLOROHYDRIN Chemical compatibility with O-rings, rubbers, & plastics

Propylene Chlorohydrin is a colorless liquid with a pungent odor. It is used as an intermediate in the production of various chemicals, including pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and polymers. Propylene Chlorohydrin is employed in the synthesis of propylene oxide, a key raw material for the production of polyurethanes, glycols, and other chemicals. Additionally, it finds applications in the manufacture of surfactants, resins, and coatings. Propylene Chlorohydrin is also used as a solvent and in the formulation of certain industrial products. Its versatility and reactivity make it valuable in numerous applications. However, Propylene Chlorohydrin is highly flammable and should be handled with care. Proper safety measures should be taken during its use and storage.
