PYRROLE Chemical compatibility with O-rings, rubbers, & plastics

Pyrrole is a colorless to pale yellow liquid with a characteristic odor. It is a heterocyclic aromatic organic compound with the chemical formula C4H5N. Pyrrole is used as a building block in the synthesis of various chemicals, including pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and dyes. It is employed in the production of pyrrole derivatives and other specialty chemicals. Pyrrole is also used as a solvent and reagent in organic synthesis. Additionally, it finds applications in the formulation of certain polymers and resins. Pyrrole is a key intermediate in the production of polypyrrole, a conductive polymer used in various electronic and electrochemical applications. Its versatility and reactivity make it a valuable chemical in numerous processes. However, Pyrrole is highly flammable and should be handled with care. Proper safety measures should be taken during its use and storage.
