Aluminum fluorosilicate is a white crystalline compound with the chemical formula Al2(SiF6)3. It is used in water treatment as a coagulant and in the manufacture of ceramics, glass, and cement. Aluminum fluorosilicate is also employed as a catalyst in certain chemical reactions. It can cause skin and respiratory irritation upon exposure. Proper handling, storage, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are essential to ensure safety.
