ALUMS-NH3 -CR -K Chemical compatibility with O-rings, rubbers, & plastics

Alums containing ammonia, chromium, and potassium are used in various industrial and laboratory applications. They are employed as coagulants in water treatment, mordants in dyeing and printing textiles, and as catalysts in chemical reactions. These alums are also used in the manufacture of paper, leather, and cosmetics. While relatively non-toxic, they can cause skin and respiratory irritation upon exposure. Proper handling, storage, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are essential to ensure safety.
