AMMONIUM FORMATE Chemical compatibility with O-rings, rubbers, & plastics

Ammonium formate is a white crystalline compound with the chemical formula NH4HCO2. It is used as a reducing agent in chemical synthesis, a buffer in chromatography, and in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals. Ammonium formate is relatively non-toxic but can cause skin and eye irritation upon contact. Proper handling and storage are essential to ensure safety.
