Ammonium molybdenate is a white crystalline compound with the chemical formula (NH4)2MoO4. It is used as a reagent in analytical chemistry, a catalyst in chemical reactions, and in the manufacture of molybdenum-based products. Ammonium molybdenate is relatively non-toxic but can cause skin and eye irritation upon contact. Proper handling and storage are essential to ensure safety.
