AMMONIUM PERSULFATE Chemical compatibility with O-rings, rubbers, & plastics

Ammonium persulfate is a white crystalline compound with the chemical formula (NH4)2S2O8. It is used as an oxidizing agent in polymerization reactions, a bleaching agent in cosmetics, and a cleaning agent for printed circuit boards. Ammonium persulfate is relatively non-toxic but can cause skin and respiratory irritation upon exposure. Proper handling, storage, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are essential to ensure safety.
