Ammonium persulfate 10% solution is a standardized aqueous solution used as an oxidizing agent in polymerization reactions, a bleaching agent in cosmetics, and a cleaning agent for printed circuit boards. Ammonium persulfate is relatively non-toxic but can cause skin and respiratory irritation upon exposure. Proper handling, storage, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are essential to ensure safety.
