BITTERN Chemical compatibility with O-rings, rubbers, & plastics

Bittern is the residual brine solution left after the evaporation of seawater or brine for salt production. It contains high concentrations of magnesium, calcium, and other minerals. Bittern is used in the production of magnesium compounds, as a de-icing agent, and in some food processing applications. While relatively non-toxic, it can cause skin and eye irritation upon contact. Proper handling and storage are essential to ensure safety.
