Fluorosulfonic acid is a colorless liquid with a pungent odor, represented by the chemical formula FSO3H. It is used as a catalyst and in the manufacture of certain chemicals. Fluorosulfonic acid is highly corrosive and can cause severe skin and respiratory irritation upon exposure. Proper handling, storage, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are essential to ensure safety.
